Nature experience Manú (southern Amazonas jungle)

Spanning more than 1.7 million hectares, one of the world's largest national parks is home to over 800 bird species, 200 mammal species, countless insects and reptiles, and more than 2,000 plant species — some of them found nowhere else. The rainforest of Manú National Park is also home to indigenous communities. Just as beautiful but less well known is the Tambopata Nature Reserve, southwest of Puerto Maldonado.
