Colombia / Pacific Coastline
Lonely islands and wild coastlines in the Pacific Sea
Even though Colombia's Pacific coast is one of the rainiest places on Earth, the sun still breaks through often enough for wonderful walks along its idyllic beaches. The beaches of Nuquí and Bahía Solano are reached by flying from Medellín, while Isla Gorgona is reached by flying from Cali to Guapí and continuing by boat. Between July and October, humpback whales can be spotted along this coast.
