Incallajta war Anfang des 16. Jhdts. eine wichtige Festung im Osten des Inkareichs und ist heute eine der größten und best erhaltenen Ruinen aus dieser Zeit in Bolivien. Das koloniale Totora wurde 1995 von einem schweren Erdbeben erschüttert, hat aber dennoch nichts von seinem Charme verloren.
At the beginning of the 16th century Incallajta was an important fortress in the east of the Inca empire. Today it is one of the biggest and best conserved ruins of this time in Bolivia. The colonial village of Totora trembled because of a big earthquake in 1995 but hasn’t lost anything of its charm.
